Chimney Rock Village Streetscape

The Chimney Rock Village streetscape project will provide locals and visitors with greater mobility throughout the village. The plan calls for enhanced sidewalks, improved parking, new civic plazas, street trees, and lighting. These enhancements will generate longer visitor stays and greater economic vitality.

Project Status

The Phase 1 Streetscape Project includes the new Riverwalk Plaza between the Gem Mine and Bubba O’learys. This new 3,000 square foot plaza provides for a new gathering and seating area, improved access to the Riverwalk along the First Broad River, street trees, lighting, and parallel parking.

Opportunities for Giving

To complete the entire Chimney Rock Village streetscape plan will require multiple phases. Donations of all sizes are welcome and can help support the funding of elements such as trees, benches, and lighting. The Village is now working to raise money for Phase 2 engineering and construction.
