The Town of Ellenboro is dedicated to preserving and honoring the unique blend of industrial and agricultural heritage found in eastern Rutherford County. The area’s small-town charm and appeal are being emphasized through two current Rutherford Bound projects. Plans are currently in the works for the renovation of the Ellenboro Train Depot and for the development of the Colfax Cotton Gin Park. The historic train depot is home to a fascinating museum that showcases not only trains but also an array of nostalgic treasures from decades past. The Colfax Cotton Gin Park is currently in the design phase and fundraising continues for the construction of this distinctive community asset.
