The first Rutherford Bound project focused on revitalizing the Thermal Belt Rail Trail (TBRT) and restoring the aging railroad bridge over Highway 74. The Rutherford Bound Master Plan envisions further improvements along the TBRT, including a new farmers market near the Pavilion on Park Square (POPS) outdoor theater.
