This project will redevelop the former Rutherfordton Golf Course into a community and regional recreation asset. The first phase of the Norris Park Project includes the development of a new entry drive and parking lot, a large picnic shelter, restroom facilities, and an ADA-accessible walking path. The project also features concrete sidewalks, an entry plaza, open lawn areas, and a competition level 18-hole disc golf course.

Project Status
The Town of Rutherfordton is actively working on this project and has been awarded substantial grants to help complete this multi-phase complex. The engineering and design phase has been completed and construction is well underway with completion expected by Fall 2025.
